PokerTracker Addresses Preferred Seating, Imports
The leading poker analytical software
PokerTracker takes pride in constantly improving its product for their customers. On January 26, the company released PokerTracker 4.13, adding new functionality and addressing many fixes for its users.
The first thing you may notice when downloading PokerTracker 4.13 is the updated PokerTracker 4 icon. The new icon provides a flatter design that integrates better with many of the modern operating systems including OS X Mavericks and Windows 8. While this isn’t something that will improve your software experience, it is cool that PokerTracker is doing its best to remain with the times.
In addition to the new icon design, PokerTracker 4.13 now allows its users to set up preferred seating in its hand history replayer in the setup assistant. Additionally, the new release allows for more flexibility for advanced users setting up custom stats.
The new release also addressed many import-related issues. Since online poker rooms are constantly changing the way they are structured, it is important that your poker software’s support team remains on top of these changes to get the best experience possible. PokerTracker and sister company,
Hold’em Manager, are, in my opinion, the best in the industry in keeping up with the constant changes employed by just about every major poker site.
In the new release, PokerTracker now supports the
PokerStars' new tournament summary changes including bounties and rebuy/add-on pre-hand reporting. The software has also fixed an issue where FPP tournaments were being imported as real money and addressed an inconsistency with how dead small blinds were being treated.
Those of you using PokerStars' audit files will be please to know that the new release of PokerTracker addresses changes in date formatting and is able to determine prize pools from the audit file changes.
Players on
Full Tilt should notice a few changes as well. The software is now able to properly import Full Tilt Matrix tournament summaries to include the buy-in and the results for sub-tournament summaries. PokerTracker also will now properly import Omaha H/L tournament hands it was previously having issues with due to pot size errors. Those of you having problems with Full Tilt Rush tournaments importing as rebuy tournaments can rest assured this problem was fixed as well. Lastly, the software provider addressed an issue where some of its users were receiving access violations when importing certain Excel files with Full Tilt data.
There were also some smaller changes relating to other online poker rooms such as fixing a small compatibility problem that occurred on
888 Poker, fixing an issue where certain iPoker FPP tournaments were being imported as cash, and improving a compatibility issue for
Winamax.
The new release also addressed a few issues relating to its actual software. You should notice an improvement in performance on graphs when using ratio stats in the moving average. The graphs also now allow you to display the sum and moving average simultaneously on the overlay feature. The Overall Results graph also now respects the Small-Stakes license restrictions.
For those of you who use PokerTracker as a study tool, the new release addressed many aspects of its ICM calculator. First of all, the software addressed an error in Version 4.12 that adversely affected the display of chip stack fields in the calculator. Version 4.13 also fixed another issue introduced in 4.12 where hands were improperly showing ICM calculations absent of an all-in scenario.
The ICM calculator now also has improved precision with its EV results in situations where three or more players are all-in to take into account all possible scenarios of ties in secondary pots. The replayer also now allows ICM results to be updated when the software’s users change the player model. Lastly, the new release addressed an out-of-memory situation that occurred when using complex ICM stats in "My Reports."
